Uninsured:

New Britain Anesthesia, PC provides services to all patients regardless of ability to pay. We have developed a financial aid application for uninsured patients who meet certain income limits. You may request an application for discount by calling 860-563-0700.

Email and Protected Health Information (PHI)

Our group does not correspond with patients by email unless requested to do so by the patient. This is due to the fact that your information may be unprotected once you place it in an email. For NBA to respond to an email, you must first email us and be willing to include and disclose protected information. For us to confirm your identity by email and respond to you, please include:

Date of birth
NBA account number as provided on a mailed statement
Indicate if you prefer a call or a return email

Our response to you will include minimal information such as the balance on the account and any reasons the account is unpaid by insurance, but will not include protected information such as your name, diagnosis or procedure. To discuss your account by phone, please call 860-563-0700. For medically related questions, please call the anesthesiologist on call at 860-224-5266.

Health Plan Participation:

New Britain Anesthesia, PC participates in numerous government and private health plans. We obtain your health plan information from hospital registration and bill your plan for you. Patients are responsible for paying to NBA any amounts that your plan defines as patient responsibility such as copayments, coinsurance or deductibles. NBA will not bill you for adjustments/discounts, which we agreed to provide your plan.
